Thermodynamics
From ResearchID.org
Thermodynamics is the study of energy distribution within a system. States of energy and matter such as heat, temperature, pressure, volume, mass, density, etc. are important factors in understanding nature and thermodynamic phenomena. Technologically, this is field is crucial for engineering machines that utilize the relationship between heat, work, and other forms of energy.
William Dembski has drawn on the work of Victor Weisskopf, Peter Medawar, and Stuart Kauffman in order to further understanding into what is sometimes called the "Fourth Law of Thermodynamics" or the "Law of Conservation of Information." This principle utilizes the logic and applicability of thermodynamics to information theory and the production of specific types of information.
