Hugh Ross

Dr. Hugh Ross was born in Canada in 1945. Ross has a BSc in physics from the University of British Columbia and an MSc and PhD in astronomy from the University of Toronto. At Caltech he researched quasi-stellar objects, or "quasars," some of the most distant and ancient objects in the universe.Ross is the founder, president and director of research of the organization called Reasons To Believe (RTB). RTB was founded in 1986 to answer questions about God and science and provide scientific support for Christainity. Some of his early books such as The Fingerprint of God and the The Creator and the Cosmos were groundbreaking intelligent design books focusing on fine-tuning in astronomy and astrophysics. He co-authored The Origins of Life and Who was Adam? with biochemist Fuz Rana which detail a scientifically testable design model.
