Be Daring, Be Bold
ResearchID.org encourages everyone to be daring if you are thinking about changing or adding to our wiki pages. Don't worry about messing something up, everyone has at one time or another. There are backups of all the articles and they can be easily reverted if you mess up. If there is anyone else working on the article, they may be able to assist you. Post a proposal for a major change on the discussion page (click on the 'discussion' tab on the top left side of any ResearchID.org wiki page), or ask a question.
- Here is a good article on being bold when editing.
- You must log in to edit on ResearchID.org. This is to prevent spam bots from dumping advertisements on our pages.
- We recommend starting out making small edits in articles that are already in the directory. To do this, find an error in a page and learn how to edit a page. Be sure you are familiar with the process before you begin to make changes.
- Once you are familiar with how to edit, you can learn How to make a new research app.
- Be sure to check out the ResearchID.org standards to find out more about our research philosophy and how to collaborate on articles.
